  Honestly, if I could I would probably give Cajun Seafood 5 stars, have the review be simply a GIF of Homer Simpson drooling and call it a day.
    Holy cow, did this unassuming little joint with a generic name hit the spot! Maybe it's because I hadn't eaten much that day, as I had just driven in to NOLA and barely crammed in a tour of the art museum and the adjacent sculpture garden before they closed for the day. But I'd have to say it was the preparation and the spices.
    I like that I found a good locals spot, in a more rundown and non-touristy part of town. Being a newb here, it threw me a little that there was no crawfish boil on the extensive menus overhead (Cajun and Chinese and ice cream,oh my!) but the guy behind the counter quickly set me straight on ordering everything separate. A pound of crawfish, two potatoes, an ear of corn and a big link of Andouille sausage makes a crawfish boil in my book. Everything served separate in a bag was a new one, too, for dining in at least, and I had to go back to ask for napkins and plasticware, but hey, I don't mind getting messy if they don't mind me getting their table messy. (I don't even knowing what I was thinking asking for plastic ware. If you're manhandling those mudbugs, you might as well use bare hands for the rest, too.)
    Oh, man, was that ish ever good, though! I really should have gone back for a second visit while I was in town, but I wanted some variety, ya know? Blew the crawfish boil we have once a year at the restaurant I work at out of the water! And for cheaper, too! That's to be expected, though, if you're shipping crawfish all the way back to Detroit. Still, I'm glad that's a few months away. A week later and it would have paled in comparison to the Cajun Seafood make-your-own Crawfish boil.
    I'm surprised I haven't seen reviews mentioning the wall of fridges with all manner of beverages. (I only read back a two dozen or so, though.) I don't drink myself, so I went with Arizona Ice tea, but they have lots of cold brews for a more N'awlins type a style.
    I lucked out on almost no wait here, too. Reading through Yelp that appears to be uncommon.
   Expect some local color here, too. One guy came in panhandling and they yelled at him to get the hell out. "I ain't never comin back here again! " he promised. "Thank you! " the guy behind the counter said, smiling. Dude grabbed his friend and left and I honestly don't know if the whole confrontation was serious or if they were kinda like long standing frenemies messing with each other. I just found the whole thing amusing at any rate. If the panhandler wandering over to my messy collection of bags I'd have no problem ripping him off a hunk of sausage. It's a small tax for seeing the real New Orleans, and it would have given me an excuse for going back up for seconds, which I probably should have done anyway.

  I cannot recommend this place enough! I'll preface this review by saying I am by no means a Cajun seafood boil expert but this hit the spot!
  
  Mary was very accommodating to me and my group. I placed an order for 13 people via email around lunch time on a Thursday to be delivered at 8:30pm that night when we arrived. Our food was on time, fresh and tasty - all this considering they closed 30 minutes after this. Mary also waved the delivery fee and threw in a bunch of full bottle sized sauces into our order as well which was very kind.
  
  The food itself was fantastic. The amount of flavor that was packed into the boil was surprising for me as I had never had this before. There was also two sauces served with the boil, one red and one green. Both were superb. I don't know what was in there but it complimented the boil so well. The corn also has a very punchy flavor which I personally loved. Probably the most delicious corn I have ever had.
  
  Would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Nola. Awesome food and accommodating staff. You had 13 very happy customers last night!

  The seafood we got here was sooooo good. It was my favorite place out of all the places we ate at in Nola. It is cafeteria style and we were fine with that, the staff was nice and the food came out fairly quick. We had the po boy (it was alright, just wanted to try it out since it was Nola thing), crawfish (so good), lo Mein (we just wanted some noodles, but it was good too).
  
  Only thing is, it seems like it almost in the "hood" so be careful. We Uber There and back but while waiting for the Uber to go home outside of the place was a little sketchy.

  My first time trying this style of seafood boil.
  
  Ordered the crab, shrimp and crawfish, gotta say this was really good! The flavors were very infused into the meat with a good balance of spicy and seasoning. Definitely a must try as I have been always used to eating the saucy boiling crab style.

  This is the BEST crawfish location in all of Nola.
  
  We went for a bachelor party to Nola, ate at the top three crawfish restaurants and this restaurant was by far the best. The size of our crawfish was huge, the sauce was to die for, and even the corn sausage and potatoes were amazing on their own. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place was. Best part too is that it's $5 a lb!
  
  I will*** come back when I visit New Orleans again!
